Responsibilities: Coordinate all show activities.
Pre-Show Duties:
Meet with Club President to outline general show changes, etc.
Set show date.

Select various chairpersons and assistant show chairperson. Be sure to contact them for commitment. Explain their responsibilities to them. Give them copy of job description
and assure them of your full cooperation and support. Monitor each chairperson’s progress
to ensure adequate time schedules are being met.
Show chairman will chair all show business, including at Board Meetings.
The first show committee meeting should be in January. Keep meetings short and well organized. Let each chairperson handle his/her area per job description and handle any
problems through them. Set up pre and post show meetings.
Promote ideas – such as special events to promote show.
Solve any problems during meetings.
Have show registration fliers printed in time for early May mailing
Arrange for tents to be used in special areas ie. registration and administration
Arrange to have club trailer brought to grounds/inventory its contents

Oversee clean up and storage.
Thank your committees.
Send letters of appreciation to sponsors, police, ambulance, etc.
See that all reports that are due are handed in.

Write a report of any problems, etc. for next year’s show.
